    This joint is one of the first on the TAR Sessions cassette i gave to a few folks- on some homegrown beat tape listening. i had no intention of putting them out as a complete tape, it was more source material for MC's to pick beats from. this one in particular i made for Bim Thomas, one of the rawest rock drummers alive.

i chopped that snare from a Eugene McDaniels' song, but the kick was weak in the song mix so i pulled out the Alesis 16 for the kick - threw some rack distortion on the boy and bam.
